Liam Burke cast as Aerys Targaryen?

Per WIC.net on Twitter, it’s been noted that Irish actor Liam Burke has the role of ‘Mad King’ in The Game of Thrones (sic) listed on his most recent CV at his agent’s website. ‘The Mad King’ is of course the epithet ascribed to Aerys II Targaryen, the assassinated father of Daenerys Targaryen.

Along with persistent rumors that Sean Bean quietly returned to Belfast to film for this season, this unannounced casting makes it seem very likely that flashback sequences have been filmed in secret, either for a Robert’s Rebellion flashback or for the House of the Undying sequence.
